The Liffey Descent Ireland

The date for the 2010 Liffey Decent is Saturday September 4th 2010.
The plan is to leave the canoe centre on Friday afternoon the 3rd September at 12.30pm and catch the 2.30pm ferry from Fishguard, we should arrive in Rosslare at 6pm. We will then drive north towards Dublin we will stay in a hotel on Friday and saturday night. Please note to keep the costs low I have booked 3 family rooms so we will be sharing beds! Lush! bring a sleeping bag. Attend the race http://www.liffeydescent.com/ on Saturday then the party on Saturday night, then catch the 9.15pm ferry on Sunday arriving back in fishgard at 1am and llandysul Llandysul by 2am accommodation is available in Llandysul on the Thursday and Sunday nights at no extra cost for those travelling from away.
Ferry details:
Departing from Fishgard to Rosslare on 3rd September at 2.30pm arriving in Rosslare at 6pm
Departing Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead on Sunday 5th September at 1.15pm arriving in holyhead at 3.14pm
A great weekend with about 1000 paddlers taking part.
The cost is as follows Race entry £45, Party £20, Ferry £40, Hotel £45, Fuel £25 (£175)
