LEVEL 3 COACH ASSESSMENT COURSE (KAYAK)

START AND FINISH
The course starts at 9am on Saturday and finishes at 5pm on Sunday.
You must be a current BCU Level 3 Coach Trained instructor and hold the relevant 4 Star award, have a current first aid certificate and, for the assessment, have at least 50 hours of coaching experience logged.
THE AIM OF THE COURSE:
Training at this level is designed to develop the range and depth of the coach’s leadership and instructional skills. The courses are specific to paddling disciplines and are the minimum qualification for those in charge of club, school or outdoor centre groups.
AFTER THE COURSE:
It is hoped that at the end of the 2 days you will be a Level 3 Coach.
Included in the price is accommodation and you can also use the Centre's kayaks and paddles.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING:
You will need to bring with you all your canoeing equipment; your Certificates and C2 form. Please note that you will not be allowed to take part in the course if you have not got C2 form from the WCA or equivalent governing body.
WHERE WILL I STAY:
You can stay in the centre. All bedding is provided
No meals are provided as part of the course but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.
The cost of the course is £160 this includes accommodation you also need to pay the national association registration fee of £17.50.
