INTRODUCTION TO SEA KAYAKING
WEEKEND

COURSE DATES

Saturday and Sunday July 12th and 13th 2008

Saturday and Sunday September 6th and 7th 2008

START & FINISH The course will start at 9.30am and finish at 5.30pm on both days.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE: Pre-requisites: you should be a capable flat-water paddler. No other previous experience is needed to attend this course so it is open to everyone.
THE AIM OF THE COURSE: A great weekend designed to introduce you to paddling on the sea. Our coaches will introduce you to sea paddling techniques, which you will be able to put into practice on our local coastline in West Wales
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: Food.
AFTER THE COURSE:

It is hoped that at the end of the 2 days you will be happy to paddle on the sea and have a good understanding of safety techniques.

EXTRAS: You can use any of the centre's equipment including kayaks and paddles.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING: You can bring with you any canoeing equipment you may have and some warm clothes.
WHERE WILL I STAY: You can stay in the centre - all bedding is provided.
FOOD: No meals are provided as part of the course but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.
COST: The cost of the course is £60 including accommodation, equipment, and instructors.
EXTRA INFORMATION: The course is to be run by level 5 sea kayaking coach Nigel Robinson and supported by aspirant level 5 coaches.
