BCU AQUATIC FIRST AID COURSE

TIMES: The course will start at 9.30am and will be finished by 5.30pm.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE: Anyone who would like to receive training in basic first aid.
THE AIM OF THE COURSE: The Aim of the course is to cover basic first aid and resuscitation.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: Food
COURSE INFORMATION: This 8 hour course provides basic knowledge and skills required to render First Aid. The award is valid for 3 years and is a recognised qualification for the BCU Coaching awards.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING? The course is run on dry land so no canoeing equipment is needed, just loose fitting clothes, tracksuit etc.
WHERE WILL I STAY? If you are travelling a long way to do the course you can stay in the centre. All bedding is provided at £8 per night
FOOD: No meals are provided as part of the course, but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.
COST: The cost of the course is £45. This includes certificate fees and also the Aquatic first aid manual.
