WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE:

This is like the old Canoe Safety Test. It is now called the foundation safety and rescue training or the FSRT. You will be trained in safety awareness and rescue skills. The day starts at 9.00am To attend this course you must by over 14 years old.

THE AIM OF THE COURSE: To train and increase the safety knowledge of the paddler.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: Food.
AFTER THE COURSE: You can use this as a pre requisite for the Level 1 coach award.
EXTRAS: You can use any of the centre equipment including kayaks and paddles.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING: You can bring with you any canoeing equipment you may have and your logbook if you have one.
WHERE WILL I STAY: You can stay in the centre - all bedding is provided
FOOD: No meals are provided as part of the course but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.
COST:

The cost of the course is £65 + Vat

The course starts at 9am and finishes by 5pm.
