  BCU 5 Star White Water Leaders Award Training

COURSE DATES

3rd-4th March 2011
19th-20th March 2011

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE Anyone who has already completed the BCU 4 star award and is looking to progress to the five star award. The course will start at 9am on both days.
You must be over 18 years old to attend this course.
AIM OF THE COURSE To train and prepare you for the 5 star assessment.
EXTRAS You can use any of the centre's equipment including kayaks and paddles.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED Food
WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING? As well as the usual paddling equipment you will be expected to bring with you a first aid kit, repair kit, throw bag, spare clothing, emergency equipment, packed lunch, sling, carabiner, knife, air bags, dry bags, a flask of hot drink and a simple repair kit (Tape, multi tool etc).
WHERE WILL I STAY?

Accommodation is included in the price, and all bedding is provided.

FOOD No meals are provided as part of the course but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.
COST £175 + VAT. This includes accommodation but excludes any BCU / WCA fees.

Once you have completed this course and before you attend your assessment you need to fill in and send off an LR FORM.
