Inland Kayak 5 Star Assessment
SCOTLAND

COURSE DATES Saturday and Sunday October 8th and 9th 2011
ABOUT THE COURSE This 5 star assessment is to take place in Scotland in October we will be hoping for some wet weather for the rivers to be running but if this fails to appear we will be using the dam released rivers so the course should run no matter what happens. The bus will be departing from Llandysul on Thursday morning at 7am and travelling north for the next 9 hours.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE: To attend this course you need to be 18yrs old and have completed some 5 star training and also hold a white water safety certificate.
WHAT IS INCLUDED: Included in the course fee is the transport, 3 nights accommodation (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), and assessors fees.
AFTER THE COURSE: It is hoped that at the end of the 4 days you will have had a good trip to Scotland and gained your 5 star.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING: You can bring with you any kayaking equipment you may have and some warm clothes. Please remember that the 5 star assessment is the top paddler performance award so your kit and paddling will need to be spot on.

FOOD: The accommodation is bed and breakfast which is included in the cost you will have to sort out your own lunch and evening meal both can be obtained from the accommodation.
COST: The cost of the course is £275.
