Anyone who has already completed the BCU 2 star award. This course is designed for sea kayaking enthusiasts and will be run on the West coast of Wales near Cardigan.
THE AIM OF THE COURSE:
Successful performance at this level indicates that candidates can consider themselves as intermediate paddlers rather than beginners. Training and assessment will be carried out over both days.
START AND FINISH TIMES:
The course will start at 9.30am and finish at 5.30pm each day.
AFTER THE COURSE:
It is hoped that at the end of the weekend you will be a better paddler and have gained the new BCU 3 star award in Sea.
EXTRAS:
You can use any of the centre equipment including kayaks and paddles.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING:
You can bring with you any canoeing equipment you may have and your logbook if you have one.
WHERE WILL I STAY:
You can stay in the centre - all bedding is provided
FOOD:
No meals are provided as part of the course but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.
COST:
The cost of the course is £80 including accommodation.
