BCU 3 Star WW Training Inland Kayak

 

COURSE DATES:

Saturday-Sunday 14th-15th January 2012 

Saturday - Sunday 3rd-4th March 2012

Saturday - Sunday 16th- 17th June 2012

Saturday - Sunday 4th-5th August 2012 

Saturday - Sunday 29th-30th October 2011

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE:

For those who have already completed the BCU 2 star award and are looking to progress to the three star award. The course will start at 9.00am and finish by 5.00pm. You must be over 16yrs old to attend this course.

THE AIM OF THE COURSE:

To prepare you to become an intermediate kayaker, you will be trained in boat handling on upto grade two water and will become a compentant member of a lead group.  

AFTER THE COURSE:

It is hoped that at the end of the two days you will be a better paddler and have gained experience and knowledge to help you progress to the BCU 3 star award.

EXTRAS:

You can use any of the centre equipment including kayaks and paddles.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING:

Any kayaking and safety kit if you do not have any then you can borrow the centres.

WHERE WILL I STAY:

You can stay in the centre - all bedding is provided.

FOOD:

No meals are provided as part of the course but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.

COST:

The cost of the course is £95 including accommodation.
