BCU 3 STAR TRAINING

COURSE DATES

Saturday and Sunday 18th and 19th February 2012

Saturday and Sunday 23rd and 34th June 2012

Saturday and Sunday 8th and 9th September 2012

Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th November 2011

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE:

Anyone who has already completed the BCU 2 star award and is looking to progress to the three star award. The course will start at 9.30am on both days. You must be over 16yrs old to attend this course.

THE AIM OF THE COURSE:

To train and prepare you for the 3 star assessment.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

Food

AFTER THE COURSE:

It is hoped that at the end of the two days you will be a better paddler and have gained experience and knowledge to help you progress to the BCU 3 star award.

EXTRAS:

You can use any of the centre equipment including CANOES and paddles.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING:

Any kayaking and safety kit if you do not have any then you can borrow the centres.

WHERE WILL I STAY:

You can stay in the centre - all bedding is provided.

FOOD:

No meals are provided as part of the course but there is a self-catering kitchen in the centre.

COST:

The cost of the course is £95 including accommodation.
