FRANCE 2008
Listed below is some information on the trip to France.
Departure Date: Tuesday July 22nd 2008 at 10am Ferry at 6pm
Returning On: Wednesday July 30th 2008 at 4pm Ferry at 7am
About the Trip: The trip is going to be open to all members of the club, we will be travelling in the centre mini buses and cars and we will be sailing from Dover to Calais.
This year’s trip is going to be 1 week camping next to the river Ardeche in the south of France. If we get time on the way back North we will stop at last years man made site near Leyon. Last years trip was aimed at white water paddlers so this years trip will be for the more relaxed paddlers with no more than grade 3 being paddled.
It is also going to be a smaller trip with only 33 places available.
We should arrive at around 12 noon on Wednesday morning the 23rd and depart at around 6pm on Tuesday 29th, we should be home by about 4pm on the 30th of August.
We will sort out: Cooking Equipment, All Transport, Ferry Tickets, Instructors, Camping and All Main Meals at the sites but not when travelling.
You Can Sort Out: Your Passport, Your E1 11 forms (Post Office), Canoeing kit (Or borrow the clubs), Spending money in Euros, Sleeping bags, travel insurance and spare clothes.
Maximum Numbers: 33 (Book early)
Cost: £250 each.
